Biographical Info
Providing a home for more than 1000 runners, trail runners, walkers, cyclists, triathletes and canoeists, club members have already made their mark on the podium at provincial and national level. Club events include the Dudley Trail Run, Tekkie 10km Challenge, the Applethwaite Duathlon and the Applethwaite off-road Triathlon.
Although the majority of members are social participants, a few of the club’s top members include provincial and national champions. Coaching and development of young athletes is one of the top priorities of the club and growing each of the disciplines by introducing newcomers to the sport is a priority. Cape Multisport Club is a virtual club in the Western Province, so athletes from all over the WP may apply for membership. Members are being kept informed regularly through monthly newsletters, Facebook and Twitter.
The club is affiliated to all provincial bodies through which licensing is administered on behalf of its members.
Cape Multisport Club (Eden)
The Cape Multisport Club (Eden) has been established recently in the Garden Route. We are based in the Wilderness area, well suited to the variety of sporting disciplines multi sport athletes enjoy.
