The costs for races in 2020 will generally follow the price structure detailed below. There will be exceptions, such as for multi-day races and special events. These costs will always be listed on the event page of each race.

How do we spend this money?

All income generated from our events are used for cycling relating activities. These include;

• Hosting races
  • Venue hire
  • Medical services
  • Event services (Registration and timing)
• Funding scholar races
  • Discounts towards races
  • The Youth Festival

Our annual financial statements is available, on request, via [email protected], or via the representatives from affiliated clubs.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship is hard to come by in the current economic climate and most of our races run without any sponsorship. We do receive money from the Western Cape Department of Sport and Culture (DCAS) for selected events or purposes, which we are very grateful of.

However, we are always in need of additional sponsorship. Our races gather lots of interest in the media and be a good medium for a corporate marketing.
