Western Province Cycling announces the Road Racing League for 2018. The calendar will consist of a combination of road races, criteriums, circuit racing and one time trial event.
League racing provides an opportunity for our local teams and riders to compete against each other at the highest level. We have based our racing model on those used internationally and then adapted it with the help of coaches to meet our local needs.
Category racing enable participants to compete against riders of the same standard from the age of 18 to Masters. See the article about categories and criteria.
There are discount structures, available to riders who are members of clubs affiliated to CSA. Youth and scholars riders are also going to be catered for in the Road Racing League. See the Pricing article.
An improved electronic timing system will enable accurate and timely results to be published within 48 hours. A once off fee for a chip will be required.
Find below the tentative dates for the events. The latest event information for each race will be posted on our event calendar, so please check on there regularly as additional information is made available.
